Intro:

This is the beginning of something new—a quiet, intentional shift toward living more fully for myself, and expressing that journey through the lens. As I begin exploring landscape photography, I wanted to share where my heart is right now: grounded, open, and finally mine.

This photo was taken four years ago, while I was exploring Theodore Roosevelt National Park alone. It was the beginning of my soul allowing me to feel what deep joy and peace truly were. A fleeting moment—yet one that became like a second heartbeat in my life ever since.

Living for Me:

A Journey Through Soul, Stillness, and the Lens

There’s something about standing still in nature that reminds me who I am. The quiet, the colors, the way light folds over the land—it reflects the very journey I’ve taken within.

To this, I hold dear: my desire for the “if onlys” and the “maybe this time.”

I’ve reached a point in my life where I embrace who I am—fully, unapologetically. I welcome the winding road that led me here. And above all, I accept and take meaningful ownership of my soul and my dreams.

I no longer allow the voices of doubt—my own or others'—to dictate my value.

My worth is what I say it is. It is mine. It always has been.

Through seasons of change, soul searching, and quiet reflection, I’ve come to trust this truth:

My mind is my own

My feelings are not right or wrong—they are mine.

The daily lists I write now aren’t about hustle or keeping up.

They are for my peace. My clarity. My joy.

And that, perhaps, is the most profound lesson I’m learning:

To do it for me.

Life is a gift—and I’m learning to receive it with open hands.

It’s time to live for myself, to honor the stillness within me, and to let that stillness speak through my work.

As I begin to explore the world of landscape photography, I do so not just with a camera, but with intention and wonder. Each image I take is a quiet conversation between my soul and the world around me.

The universe is wide and wild. And I am finally open to all of it.
